Make Your Gaia U Dream a Reality

At Gaia U, we believe that transformative education should be accessible to all. Financial barriers should not stand in the way of those dedicated to creating a more just, regenerative world. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the Gaia U Foundation, a newly established non-profit organization designed to provide scholarships, grants, free courses, and research opportunities.

One of the Foundation’s first initiatives is the Liora Adler Scholarship Fund, honoring Liora Adler, one of Gaia U’s founders who was a visionary leader in regenerative design and social transformation. This fund will offer scholarships to students doing important work in the world, ensuring that those with passion and purpose have the resources they need to succeed.

Types of Scholarships

Applicants can apply for one of the following three types of scholarships:

  1. Specific Project Scholarship – For students who have a clearly defined project that aligns with their program focus and Gaia U Foundation’s mission.
  2. Personal and Professional Development Scholarship – For those seeking support in their broader learning journey, integrating education with career and personal growth.
  3. Targeted Work/Trade Scholarship – For individuals who wish to develop specific skills that align with Gaia U Foundation’s goals and vision while contributing back to the Gaia U community.

Partial Scholarships & Work-Trade Opportunities

To support students who might not be awarded a full scholarship, Gaia U offers partial scholarships and work-trade options of up to 60% of tuition fees for students from economically challenging backgrounds. We also provide guidance for students seeking to crowdfund the remainder of their tuition. If you have access to social, experiential, or material capital in your network, we encourage you to explore fundraising and part-time work in conjunction with a scholarship request.

Full Scholarships for Exceptional Changemakers

Through the Gaia U Foundation, full scholarships may be awarded in exceptional cases to world-changers from war-torn or economically degraded regions where raising financial capital would be otherwise impossible. These are typically offered by invitation, but if you believe you qualify or wish to nominate someone, please contact us. While we are committed to financial equity, we also encourage applicants to approach scholarships as a collaborative and co-creative endeavor. Scholarship recipients will be invited to contribute to Gaia U’s community through work-trade opportunities in areas such as fundraising, outreach, marketing, and website development. Highlighting relevant skills in your application will strengthen your chances of acceptance.
