• Welcome to the Gaia U Foundation Scholarship Application!

Thank you for your interest in applying for a scholarship with The Liora Adler Scholarship Fund. We are excited to learn more about you, your passions, and how you align with the mission and values of the Gaia U Foundation. Please complete the following application form truthfully, thoughtfully, and thoroughly.

Before you get started, we want to remind you of our scholarship recipient criteria:

    Scholarship Recipient Criteria Agreement

Before submitting your application, please read and agree to the following criteria:

    - Scholarship Awards: I understand that applying for a scholarship does not guarantee that I will receive one, and Gaia U Foundation retains the right to determine scholarship recipients at its sole discretion.

    - Energy Contribution: I acknowledge that all scholarship recipients are required to contribute a specified amount of energy helping Gaia U in different capacities. The degree of contribution will be determined based on the type of scholarship given, and the scholarship percentage awarded. This may include activities such as fundraising, marketing/outreach, or administration.

    - Story Sharing: I agree to allow Gaia U Foundation to document and share stories about my projects with donors to showcase the success and impact of my work. This documentation is a requirement for continuing my scholarship.

    - Quarterly Reviews: I understand that my progress will be reviewed quarterly to assess eligibility for further scholarship funds. This review process is essential to ensure alignment with Gaia U Foundation’s mission, values, and goals.

Once you have submitted your scholarship and program applications together with the application fee; you will have a personal admissions interview with members of our selection committee.

We greatly appreciate your thoughtful consideration of your relative wealth and potential access to financial capital when answering these questions.

Scholarship applications to Gaia U are competitive and awarded on a needs and merit basis. We do not seek out corporate or government funding for our scholarships in order to maintain our autonomy over our world-changing programs. It is therefore up to you as an applicant and potential Fellow to seek ways to contribute back to the financial viability of Gaia U so that we may continue to offer scholarships to our growing community.
