Join Virginia’s End-of-Phase presentation where she will share about her action-learning pathway which focused on the development of an organic Urban Farm and its connectivity to a local non-profit dedicated to Food Justice. Significant points in the evolution of the pathway are included in the presentation, with a particular focus on ecological, social and agricultural regeneration.
After 25 years as the owner of a Naturalized Landscaping firm, Virginia Menstell became passionate about Food Justice. She saw that Urban Farming had the potential for generating change at the ground floor within an urban setting and decided to pursue an MSc in the field through Gaia University. She is currently completing her degree and working as the MADF (Making A Difference Foundation) Gardens Manager, as well as developing a Carbon Farm on rural land in Southwest Washington (WA).
